The NOPCO study was a unique experiment. For the first time, the effects of panel choice on research outcomes was investigated in a systematic way.
While a lot of results of NOPVO have been published on conferences and in journals, there are still many questions unanswered. The data of this study allows for further analyses and the authors of NOPVO invited interested members of the international research society to use our data and our findings. This can be done in two ways

1. Analyses of the data

For market research associations outside of the Netherlands and for scientific institutes both in the Netherlands and abroad, the data is available for analyses. A protocol for the use of data can be requested from the NOPVO authors.

2. Setup of a study equivalent to NOPVO

We stronlgy recommend fellow researchers of the international market research associations, to continue the investigation into the effects of the use of online panels on market research outcomes. The authors of NOPVO are willing to share learnings and resources form the original NOPVO setup (working plans, instructions etc) with other researchers who plan to conduct a panel comparison study. PLease send an email to the NOPVO authors for more information.
